Gorizont Language School is a part of not for profit organisation Gorizont Social Enterprise CIC. We aim to support and promote cultural and linguistic diversity in the Brighton&Hove community.
Our school offers Russian language lessons, singing, painting and theatre classes. We also organise open lessons and events for the local community and family Summer Camp.
Our activities are funded through school fees, event ticket sales, and donations. Amazing volunteers also make a considerable effort in running our school.
Any help from you is invaluable, as it keeps our school open!
We invite everyone who would like to support us to become a friend of our school and choose their preferred method of support:
1. Become a volunteer.
We always need people to help prepare for the events, clean up after, or run the cafe. An additional bonus will be your child’s free ticket to the event. If you would like to volunteer for us, please write to our email: school@gorizont.uk.
2. Donate.
We need funds for learning materials, educational games, computers, audio and video equipment, decorations and costumes for theatre events. You can make a one-time or regular donation. Any donation will be greatly appreciated!
3. Family Membership card.
We organise at least 3-4 events throughout the year. Events include the Christmas celebration, Maslenitsa, Back to School, etc. We publish the schedule for the entire school year on our website, School days page. You can sign up for a monthly fee of £10, allowing you to attend any of our events. After purchasing the membership, you will receive a family membership card and a list of events you can attend without buying tickets.
5. Sponsorship.
We are always open to cooperation with companies that would like to sponsor our classes and events. You will have a fantastic opportunity to present your company and promote it to potential customers. You can contact us by email regarding any partnership offers at school@gorizont.uk.
